After a long day in the classroom, students are eager to move their bodies. The SMARTPLAY's programs provide structured, coach-led activity. Activities involve a variety of sports, primarily baseball: learning the basic skills and rules of the game in a safe environment with equipment that can be used indoors or outdoors. Also, reading and math games that keep students moving and having fun while practicing basic skills.

The SMARTPLAY's after-school programming is filled with competition that promotes focus and teamwork. Students learn how to work together towards a common goal and what it takes to be a good teammate.
